This plugin adds location sharing capabilities to the open source Jabber/XMPPclient Conversations.Why a plugin?One of the design principles of Conversations is to require as few permissionsas possible. Not every user might be comfortable with Conversations accessingthe device location at any given time.On top of that this plugin makes heavy use of Google Play Services and theGoogle Maps API to improve the user experience. (Better location detection usingcell towers and display of an actual map to verify the users position.)Both of which are not really suitable for mainline Conversations.How to useThis plugin requires Conversations >= 1.2.0. If installed Conversations willshow a Send location in the attach menu. (Next to Choose picture, Take picture and Choose file)· Shrink APK Size

This app is good for sharing one's location when friends. It doesn't let you share an arbitrary location though, which would be useful when talking about different places.
hi , since early july 2017 , this plugin is mulfunction , no map visual open. but using share location by osm it is ok. please check it ya
